Watery region spreads over

World’s dimension to a vast,

Men of dismal heart oft hover

And nicely rebuild as robust.

In eye, the immense ocean

Extending far appears aright,

Ridged waves’ airy drift done

Crests glazed offing icy white.

Rush towards sandy beaches

From the blue-water with no rest,

Cease at destination in phases

Seems recurrence beyond arrest.

Cloud’s lovely hints, sea wind

Acts on the surface of the deep,

Undulate water rolled and twined

High-crested white horses creep. 16
